About SOLID ROCK CHURCH
We are a Christian Church community in Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan.
We place a lot of importance in Gospel-Centered teaching. We believe that as Christians the focus needs to be on the Gospel and the great commission which Jesus gave his followers before he ascended into heaven.
We are gathering a launch community at this moment.
The team is committed and developing our vision, mission, and values together.

Regardless of what appears,
Even if you can't see it
I trust in God who is always with me.
While attaining his Bachelors degree of Theology at Portland Bible College in Portland, OR. he felt in his heart that God was calling him to plant a church to impact the city one day. After graduate, they moved back to Japan, became Youth Pastors at his home church Mori Evangelical Christ Church and being involved in youth ministry for four years.
Ryusuke and Yumi decided to take a step of faith in 2018 and moved from everything they knew, to be embraced by Hope Church in Tokyo. They took about a year to pray and rest before taking on the task of Church Planting. It was confirmed through the eldership of Hope Church it was time to send them back to Hokkaido where they came and plant a dynamic Church.
Ryusuke and Yumi could not be more excited to run after the call of God and begin building His kingdom in a beautiful city Sapporo.
